Spotting for deer

There are so many deer on the farm this year. We really don't need the binoculars to "spot" them, but Kevin is trying to teach Brynn to look for the antlers to spot a buck.

I love teaching the kids to respect nature and admire it without harming it (although I must admit that a few of the deer could go bye bye and I would be very happy--so would my hosta).

While Brynn and Kevin are spotting, this is what Nate is doing-running down the hill screaming. So hard to spot deer with a screaming brother beside you.

Are the deer used to the screaming boy yet? And that is one cheesy grin he is sporting. Big sister looks very serious in her searching.
