Nathan getting his footprint done in red ink. We had to do our thumbprints for the paperwork.
Today, we went back to the same place as yesterday and had our interview with the officials. Then we went to the notary. It is official. He is ours.
The attachment has been hard. We know that he was very spoiled by his foster parents. We love that, but it does make attachment to us very hard.
We went to Walmart today and bought our snacks. We spent about $30 on our stuff. One of the coolest things we got was a reuseable bag for us to use at home. Yeah, I know. Little things excite us.

Congratulations on Nathan becoming "officially" yours! That is a great feeling. Will be thinking of you a lot as you are working on the attachment process, and getting to know Nathan more and more every day! We had to laugh at your post about people staring at you - we have had about enough of that for the past 18 days!!! Enjoy your trip, and try to get some rest when you can!
