That's what we ate last night--fresh green beans that we picked from our garden. And they were delicious. Brynn had so much fun picking, snapping and eating them. It was so cute. We also got zucchini, cucumbers, sugar snap peas, peppers, onions and lettuce. Kevin is enjoying this garden so much. I just wish all of the cucumbers didn't ripen at the same time. Yikes.
Brynn and I planted this sunflower in a dixie cup in early spring. She is so excited about the size of it.

How lovely! The most we have planted are some herbs in our kitchen, and we enjoy them tremendously. I can only imagine how satisfying it must be to eat something you grew yourself!
As for the extra cucumbers, can you make things that can be frozen or canned, or sell them in a marketplace?
I am not too good in that department, but I can think of some great uses for cucumbers: Face masks, for puffy eyes, in yogurt for dips, cucumber sandwiches...try foodtv.com for more recipes!
